The global economy for 2011 has been more for the bear than the bull, and it is looking to become more uncertain after being hit by a series of economic turbulences. Japan was thrown into recession after being struck by tsunami, the credit rating of the world’s super economy United States has been downgraded from AAA to AA+, and Europe is facing a deepening debt crisis.
Yet, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) projected global growth in 2012 to be about 4 percent. Will China, India and the developing economies of S.E. Asia be the top performers? What can businesses expect in 2012 and how will Singapore perform?
Join the 10th SCCCI – BT Business Outlook Forum, conducted in English, to get insights and expert views from our panels of captains of industry.
