BUSINESS MISSION TO INDIA

The Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCCI), with the support of IE Singapore, will be organizing a Business Mission to India – Ahmedabad, Mumbai and Pune, with the following objectives:-

  1. Identify new business and investment opportunities
  2. Network with key government agencies, business leaders and business associations, to understand India's latest economic & investment climate and policies
  3. Gain first-hand information on doing business in India.

Day 1          26 February 2012 (Sun) Singapore – Ahmedabad

-             Depart for Ahmedabad International Airport via Singapore Airlines (SQ530 ETD 1840 ETA 2145)

-             Check-in to Hotel

Day 2          27 February 2012 (Mon) Ahmedabad

-             Courtesy call to the Chief Minister of Gujarat

-             Round Table with select CII members, followed by briefing on Indian economy and overview of Gujarat’s economy as  
    well as selected sectors in the state

-             Industry visit to Pharmaceutical plant

Day 3          28 February 2012 (Tues) Ahmedabad

-             Meeting with Industries Ministers / Industries Department Officials, followed by presentation on special projects

-             Visit to Indian Institute of Management

-             Visit to Industrial Plants such as Tata Motor’s Nano plant, Amul & Bombardier

Day 4          29 February 2012 (Wed) Ahmedabad - Mumbai

-             Departs for Mumbai Domestic Airport (9W 338 ETD 0720 ETA 0825)

-             Courtesy call to the Chief Minister of Maharashtra

-             Presentation on Maharashtra’s economy and selected sectors in the state

-             Industry visit to Larsen & Toubro Ltd / Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd

Day 5          1 March 2012 (Thurs) Travel by road to Pune

-             Business meetings in Mumbai

-             Networking session with India businessmen in Pune

Day 6          2 March 2012 (Fri) Pune – Mumbai - Singapore

-             Industrial visits to Bharat Forge & Ascendas

-             Departs from Mumbai International Airport to Singapore (SQ425 ETD 2220 ETA 3 Mar 0615)

Day 7          3 March 2012 (Sat) Mumbai – Singapore

-             Arrive in Singapore
