The report from the Economic Strategies Committee revealed that Singapore's productivity in the manufacturing, services and retail sectors has been lagging behind that of the US, Japan and Hong Kong. If this persists, our goods and services will lose its competitive edge and may no longer be competitive in the global market. It is therefore imperative that companies continue to address their productivity challenges to improve their organisational performance and enhance their competitiveness.
